Le Farfallette

Wonderful stone-built farm house, as a result of an accurate restoration of an old guard tower of the Benedictine Abbey of Farfa of 6^th century.

Inside Le Farfallette, a confortable countryhouse, called White Farfalletta, was created. It is carefully furnished and fully equipped and it has a separate external area with a handy barbecue.

Placed on the top of a hill, within a green valley, it has a wide view on the magnificent Farfa Abbey, that can be reached by foot in 20 minutes.

Very quite position. The house is surrounded by a wonderful olive grove of more than 4 ectares, with trees older than 400 years.

A path among the olive trees lead to the organic swimming pool, that is only 450 metres far. It is also possible to reach the pool by car in 5 minutes.
Possibility also to swim in the very pure water of Farfa river flowing in a magnificent canyon.
Possibility to taste and buy directly from the owners the famous organic extravirgin olive oil "CASALE LA FARFALLA", produced in the farm by an exclusive olive mill.

Very easy connection to Rome ( 50 Km ) through a city-train leaving every 15 minutes from the Passo Corese station, only 12 km far. The same train connects also the international airport of Fiumicino.

Horse riding at 500 mt.

Nearby several medioeval villages, pleasant walks in an uncontaminated nature, trekking in Farfa canyon and traks created for international mountain-bike races. Several tipical restaurants nearby with traditional food. Many cultural and gastronomic events in all villages around all over the year.
